About Aurelle Wakatipu
Twenty-eight rooms in stone and beech, outdoor hot tubs and a fire that is lit from April to October.
Aurelle Wakatipu · The Hotel
The lodge
Schist, beech and a lot of glass
The lodge was designed by a Wanaka architect and finished in 2017. The stone came from a quarry in the Cromwell gorge; the beech from managed forest on the West Coast.
