The hotel
The lodge sits on a ridge 120 metres above Lake Wakatipu, ten minutes' drive from Queenstown. Every room faces the lake and the Remarkables range.
It is built from schist stone and beech wood, with a big fireplace in the lounge and four cedar hot tubs on the terrace. In winter we run guests to Coronet Peak and The Remarkables every morning.
